When the Lakers didn't trade for Irving, LeBron was "disappointed."
The Los Angeles Lakers were unable to trade for All-Star guard Kyrie Irving when he became available. Instead, Irving went to the Dallas Mavericks. LeBron James, a star player for the Lakers, talked to ESPN's Michael Wilbon on Monday. He said that he was "disappointed" that the trade didn't happen, but that he is now focused on having a strong finish to the season. "I can't sit here and say I'm not disappointed that I wasn't able to get such a talented player, but also someone I had great chemistry with and know I have great chemistry with on the court, who, in my mind and eyes, can help you win championships," he said. "But my attention has changed. My attention is back on this team and what we have in the locker room, which is where it should be."
