Miami has been fined for not following league rules about how to report injuries.

NEW YORK – The NBA said today that the Miami Heat will have to pay a $25,000 fine for not following the rules about how to report injuries.

Shouldn't there be more Miami heat?

After FTX failed, the Miami Heat's home arena gets a temporary name.

After the cryptocurrency exchange went bankrupt, the contract for the Heat's name was canceled.

(AP) — In Miami, Miami-Dade Arena is another name for the place where the Miami Heat play.

This will be the temporary name of the building where the NBA team plays its home games until a more permanent naming-rights partner is found.

The new name was announced by the Heat and Miami-Dade County on Friday, two days after a bankruptcy court ended the county's deal with the failed cryptocurrency exchange FTX for naming rights. Earlier in the week, a county official said that it would be called "the Arena." However, these plans quickly changed.
