NEW YORK — Joe Dumars, the Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations for the Philadelphia 76ers, said today that center Joel Embiid has been fined $25,000. This is because he made an offensive gesture on the court.
On Jan. 25, the 76ers beat the Brooklyn Nets 137-133 at Wells Fargo Center. The incident happened with 6:01 left in the third quarter.
